The Last Goddamned Performance Piece is a play about the break up of a performance art group, and a break up of a more personal nature. It was created by up-and-coming London (Ontario) playwright Jayson McDonald (Giant Invisible Robot, Boat Load, Trashcan Duet) for Winnipeg's Fancy Molasses who workshopped it at the 2009 Winnipeg Fringe.
This production stars GCTC veteran Ben Meuser as Blue Sky, and Nancy Kenny as Summer Rain, and is directed by Dave Dawson for the Ottawa, Calgary and Edmonton Fringe Festivals.
Celebrity Cult is "a conceptual narrative about the cult of personality and the rise and fall of celebrities". Jayson McDonald's newest work was commissioned by Black Sheep Theatre and features Jayson McDonald and London, Ontario actor Meghan Brown.
Celebrity Cult will play at the Winnipeg and Saskatoon Fringe Festivals; it is slated to come to Ottawa in the fall as part of Black Sheep Theatre's next season.
